Friccicore – Malvasia del Lazio Igt
Variety origin: the name Malvasia derives from a small town in the Peloponnese, Moni Emvais (port with only one entrance). The wines obtained from this variety, in the sweet and non-sweet types, were immediately very successful thanks to the experience and ability of the Venetian merchants. Currently there are 18 Malvasias cultivated in Italy
Harvest period: after mid-August
Fermentation: in tank (autoclave) open 15/20 days, at low temperature. The end of fermentation is done indoors (valve)
Vinification system: in white
Malolactic fermentation: prevented through the cold (to avoid lowering acidity and aromas)
Aging: in steel on fine lees
Bottles produced: 3300
